- Main characters of the plot are:
Sarabi (played by herself / cub Kiara / adult Kiara / occasionally Nala),

- Story:
[Present] Scar announces Mufasa’s death to the pride.
[Past] Unfolding of Scar, Sarabi and Mufasa’s love triangle, full of jealousy and fights among the brothers.
[Early Present] Scar runs to Mufasa for help as Sarabi fell into the gorge. Mufasa bravely saves her, and just as the unconcious Sarabi is rescued above ground, Scar throws his brother off the cliff in pure jealousy.
[Present, aka return to the start] As Sarabi awakes, Scar anounces the King’s death (start of the video, like a full circle).
Sorry about the parts where the characters talk, sometimes the sound is terrible :S

[Sorry for those who saw the first upload, I wasn’t pleased with ho it came out on YouTube. *suchaperfectionistwithvideos* And, finally, the video rendered. After 17 attempts. Sony Vegas.. KEEL IT WIFF FIAH. However! If anyone can help me with this it’d be great, the silly program gives me random excuses everytime, and just crashes. What do you suggest?]
Hope everyone is enjoying summertime. I know that, after all the Live Action videos I’ve been uploading, most of you have been waiting for a ‘proper’ video, and I’m happy to say that finally, it has arrived along with summer time ^^ Please comment back what you enjoyed, it’s great seeing what you each liked in videos.
After watching some of my old favorites, I found Yzel’s “Diary of Jane, Kovu vs. Simba” video, gosh it brought back a heap load of memories. Funnily enough, the very next video that came up after that one, was this version of the song. And there you have it. Guess this is a little tribute to an old masterpiece.

I’ve also wanted to work on a storyline for a while now, I love them in videos, and I noticed that I’ve often left the Scar/Mufasa/Sarabi stories aside. THAT NEEDED TO BE CHANGED 8D Sarabi’s one of my fav characters, how did I ever miss a video like this. It was slighty annoying, since I don’t really like Kiara much. And the entire video was with her. The irony :’D
And between us, using lyrics in the video was such a pain xD I had to type the text I wanted in Gimp for the nice layouts, save that image file, bring it into Sony Vegas, chroma key it, etc. So. Many. Times. You can see that at some times in the vid, I just couldn’t be bothered anymore LOL. Yay for procrastination~
The style used resembles my “Parachute” video a little, text and bump map effects in mind. I really like it, since it plays with shadows from the original clip a lot, and brings out great colors.
Finally, have I mentioned my own DA account ever before? Welp here ‘tis.

AND. I’m getting tired of this little *** that, as soon as I upload a video, just has to put a thumbs down. Seriously, this person is the first every time to do this. I wish they’d make themselves known and WHY they find the need to do it. Feedback is great, but this is just annoying and no use at all /endofrant.

This vid kinda sucks, but I’ve been wanting to vid this song with Makorra since episode 5, just didn’t have enough material to work with. I’m happy with certain parts of this, but I think it would’ve came out better if I hadn’t worked on it at a snail’s pace for four days in 100+ degree weather. Still, I guess it could’ve been worse hahaha. XD
